Walter Bumphus Leadership Institute Program Director: Amani McLean

Amani McLean learned the fundamentals of life while building a passion for helping others. Her love for humanity lead her to be a young entrepreneur. Eventually she created a non-profit corporation, Sacred Divine Hearts which fosters life-changing relationships for girls and women.

Amani is also impeccably organized and a true “go-getter” who loves a challenge, welcomes change and embraces outside the box thinking. She also enjoys planning and coordinating events. Amani loves the feeling of satisfaction when the entire event comes together successfully.

Amani currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband Vanroderick McLean and their two sons Josiah and Jamison McLean. Despite Amani’s busy lifestyle she has always made education a priority. Amani graduated from Baltimore City Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Public Policy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Coppin State University. Amani received her Christian Life Coach Certification (CCLC) and Professional Life Coach Certification (CPLC) at New Life Coach Inc. She is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Management: Human Resources at the University of Maryland University College.
