Anne H. DeClouette started her professional career in business and financial analysis at Fortune 500 companies, such as General Motors (Flint, MI), Exxon (Baton Rouge, LA & Houston, TX), Amoco Production Company (Tulsa, OK), Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX), Honeywell (Phoenix, AZ) and Household Credit Services (Las Vegas, NV). She holds three degrees in business – a B.S. in Accounting (Southern University), an MBA with a concentration in Management (University of Tulsa) and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management (Capella University).  Her research interests include corporate governance, leadership and trust, and teaching business ethics.  She is published and has presented her research internationally (Melbourne, Australia).

At the conclusion of her first time in corporate, Dr. DeClouette dabbled in the entrepreneurial space and then transitioned to education.  She has experience in K-12 and higher education, where she has taught at the community college, undergraduate and graduate levels, to include chairing and serving on doctoral committees.  Her passion for teaching includes topics across the business spectrum and she enjoys seeing the proverbial “light bulb” illuminate during class discussions.  Aside from teaching, she has also served in administrative roles as dean and (acting) Vice President for Academic Affairs at Oklahoma City Community College.  She returned to Las Vegas, NV area in 2016, where she has conducted professional development training for
government and private entities and taught at College of Southern Nevada and UNLV. More recently, she has returned to corporate in Learning and Development at MGM Resorts International – the perfect combination of her first and second careers!
Throughout her careers in both corporate and academia, Anne has devoted her time to causes for which she has a passion, such as education (and literacy), hunger (and food insecurity) and financial "wellness". She has served on nonprofit boards of directors and been appointed to a local government board (Edmond Ground Transportation Committee). Dr. DeClouette is married and has two sons – both in college.  She enjoys relaxing with family, learning and travelling.
